Cremation and Ocean Scattering for Dana Point Families

Many Dana Point families want their loved one returned to the Pacific. We handle the cremation at our own crematory in Escondido and the permit you need to scatter at sea.

Scattering Ashes off Dana Point

California law makes it simple when the paperwork is right.

  • Scatter at least 500 yards from shore
  • Use any charter from Dana Point Harbor
  • We file the permit and give it to you
  • Or choose our unwitnessed scattering off San Diego ($170)

Can I scatter from the beach?

Do I need to be in Dana Point to arrange it?

No. Everything can be done by phone and signed online.
