Hannah Rose Brock, age 37, of Escondido, CA, formerly of New Castle, CO, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with liver disease on January 15, 2025.
Born to Bradley J. and Cheri Lee Rose Brock on September 25, 1987, in New Castle, Colorado, Hannah was a bright and determined individual. She graduated with honors from Rifle High School and pursued her passion for technology by attending the University of California, San Diego, where she majored in Computer Science and Engineering.
Hannah built a successful career as a business intelligence consultant, dedicating 14 years to her profession while living in various cities across Colorado and California. Her career was only one aspect of her vibrant life.
An adventurous spirit, Hannah had a deep love for water skiing, the great outdoors, and the thrill of skydiving. She was a certified diver and a dedicated Pilates instructor. Those who knew her cherished her wild, fun-loving nature, her unwavering stubbornness, and her sweet heart. She was a fierce friend, a loving mother, and a devoted follower of Jesus.
Hannah was blessed to have found love twice in her life. She first married James Goddard, and later married Justin Summers, with whom she started a beautiful family and welcomed her beloved son, Hunter Bradley Summers.
She is survived by her son, Hunter Bradley Summers; her sister, Christina Felis and nephews, Gage and Brandon of Patterson, CA; her Aunt Barbara Thompson of Las Vegas, NV; her Uncle David Draves and Aunt Roxanne Draves of Willow Creek, MT; her cousins, Brooke Leugers of Willow Creek, MT, and Logan Draves of Enid, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Justin Summers, and her parents, Bradley and Cheri Brock.
Hannah recently found solace in the song "Hard Fought Hallelujah" by Brandon Lake, which beautifully encapsulated her journey of faith and resilience.
In lieu of a memorial service, the family encourages all who knew Hannah to share their cherished memories of her, celebrating the incredible life she led.
