She married Wayne Hemstreet in 1952 and began the large family she always wanted. She followed him to each next big adventure from Michigan to California, then Kentucky, Tennessee and back to California. Adapting to the circumstances she was presented with.

She entered the full-time ministry in 1997, Later expanding her ministry to the Chinese field in California. Allowing time to patiently care for both of her parents at the end of their lives.

She was born into a family of musical talent. Played piano and had a beautiful singing voice.

Being a lover of nature, she willingly camped while traveling. Across the US more than once. Walked trails in Montana while in her 70’s, through New York city at 82, and through the San Diego Wild Animal Park over and over again.

Died after a long, intelligent, humble life. She persistently stayed the course of whatever life handed to her. Attended her last school for full-time ministers virtually and in spirit at the age of 92.
